2D ANIMATION

2D animation is one of the major types of animation. It’s widely used for creating animated movies, cartoons, marketing videos, advertisements, educational materials, games, and so much more.Two-dimensional or 2D animation is characterized by having its objects and characters created in the two-dimensional space. It means that they only have width and height. It’s considered a traditional animation style, known from the 1800s. Initially, it was created by pulling together the frames in which one drawing was followed by another one which slightly differed from it. Every second included 24 frames.

With the rise of video content, more and more businesses consider using animated videos for promotion, as they increase conversion rates by 20%. Some companies hire animation team, the others try to create them online with the help of video maker tools.

EXPLAINER VEDIO

An explainer video is a short animated video commonly used by businesses to quickly tell their brands’ stories in a memorable way. In 2007, these videos started gaining popularity when the company Common Craft created one explaining how to use the new social media platform Twitter. An explainer video is a short animated video that focuses on explaining a business idea in a simple, engaging and compelling way, by using a clear and concise language;appealing and attractive visuals that quickly grab the viewer’s attention.

Explainer videos work perfectly well for companies like Twitter, which provide services that may be very hard to describe in a clear and succinct way. However, they are also useful for any business with a message they want to be heard.

GIF ANIMATION

An animated GIF is a file in the Graphics Interchange Format specified as GIF89a that contains within the single file a set of images that are presented in a specified order. An animated GIF can loop endlessly (and it appears as though your document never finishes arriving) or it can present one or a few sequences and then stop the animation. Animated GIFs are frequently used in Web ad banners.

Animated GIF is an extension of the GIF standard, which allows animated images to be created by cramming a set of frames into a single file for sequential playback. Even with multiple images on the same file, the file size can still be made small because of the way GIF is encoded and because of a limited color palette.

STORY BOARD

A storyboard is a visual outline for your video. It’s made up of a series of thumbnail images that convey what happens in your video, from beginning to end. It also includes notes about what’s happening in each frame. A finished storyboard looks like a comic strip.Storyboards can be simple or complex.

They’re usually hand-drawn, although some people prefer to use storyboarding software to create their images. A storyboard is similar to a script, but the two aren’t quite the same – storyboards are visual, while scripts are text-based.
